For example, if we aim to enhance our website’s user experience, we’ll likely need to invest in web development or service design. It’s important to demonstrate the potential financial return from these investments. By comparing cost savings before and after a CX investment, we gain insights into how the investment has impacted the company’s bottom line. However, quantifying the exact impact of CX investments on sales poses a challenge, as it’s difficult to separate this impact from other factors like marketing, pricing, and product development.
